Role overview

Kpler is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business growth in the energy and chemicals sector. The company provides intelligence platforms and data insights that help organizations make informed decisions across commodities, energy, and maritime markets. This is a full hunter role based in Houston focused on generating and closing new customer accounts across the United States.

Key responsibilities

Generate over 70 percent of your own sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and direct business development activities.
Close new business deals ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 in annual recurring revenue.
Navigate and manage complex buying committees within energy and chemical organizations to advance opportunities.
Consistently achieve and exceed assigned quota targets throughout the year.
Own the entire sales cycle from initial prospecting through contract closure for new logos in your territory.

Requirements

Proven track record of success in a new business hunting role with demonstrated ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting.
Experience closing enterprise or mid-market deals in the $50,000 to $250,000 ARR range.
Strong ability to navigate and sell to complex buying committees within large organizations.
Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales quota targets.
Knowledge of or interest in the energy and chemicals sectors, or experience selling disruptive technology solutions to these industries.
