Role overview

MultiBank Group is seeking an AI Data Engineer to design and implement advanced data and machine learning solutions that enhance customer engagement and lifetime value. This position involves building scalable data infrastructure, developing predictive models, and creating generative AI applications to personalise the trading experience for our global client base.

Key responsibilities

Partner with the marketing department to construct comprehensive datasets and a centralised data warehouse supporting reporting and analytics across the organisation, with emphasis on customer retention metrics
Develop and maintain machine learning models focused on customer personalisation, churn prediction, and segmentation while coordinating execution across multiple marketing channels
Investigate and implement generative AI capabilities to create trader applications that simplify trading and deliver personalised experiences based on individual preferences
Apply commercial thinking to identify opportunities where technology can drive customer engagement or streamline internal operations
Transform raw data from high-volume sources including customer journeys, marketing performance, and product behaviour into actionable insights
Communicate complex data findings to diverse stakeholders and contribute to business strategy development

Requirements

Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience managing large-scale, multi-source datasets
Demonstrated ability to build data pipelines and automations using Python to integrate databases, marketing platforms, and data collection systems
End-to-end expertise deploying machine learning solutions, particularly in predictive modelling and customer segmentation
Proven experience extracting customer insights from data analysis and translating these into engagement and retention strategies
Capability developing applications with large language models and familiarity with current generative AI applications
Experience with ETL tools and cloud environments, preferably AWS and SageMaker
Strong communication skills for presenting insights to non-technical audiences
