Role overview

MultiBank Group seeks an AI DevOps and Cloud Engineer to establish and manage the complete cloud infrastructure foundation for the Data and Artificial Intelligence department. This is a hands-on, ownership-focused position responsible for designing AWS infrastructure from the ground up, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and evolving the platform into a production-grade MLOps environment as the team scales.

Key responsibilities

Design and own comprehensive AWS cloud infrastructure including VPCs, IAM, networking, security groups, compute resources, storage solutions, and cost optimization
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, implementing GitOps principles and automated deployment workflows
Manage Docker and Kubernetes deployments across all AI workloads, overseeing cluster health, resource allocation, and infrastructure cost efficiency
Support ML engineers in deploying models to production, managing model serving infrastructure, inference endpoints, and batch scoring pipelines
Implement end-to-end observability across infrastructure and ML systems through monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and incident response procedures
Establish and manage workflow orchestration using tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect to ensure reliable, retryable data pipelines
Maintain security and compliance standards across cloud infrastructure and AI systems, including secrets management and access controls

Requirements

Five to ten or more years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
Expert-level AWS proficiency with hands-on production experience building cloud infrastructure from scratch
Demonstrated expertise with Kubernetes in production environments
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
Ability to function as sole infrastructure owner initially with strong ownership mindset
Experience translating data scientist and ML engineer requirements into infrastructure solutions
