Role overview
AI71 builds enterprise-grade AI systems for governments, banks and large enterprises across the Middle East and Africa. The Deployment Strategist role is central to scaling AI71’s “Ask” platform—an agentic AI system designed to work within customers’ existing infrastructure and security environments. You will own the critical space between contract signature and operational deployment, working directly with enterprise clients to ensure their AI adoption succeeds.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end deployment lifecycles for one or more enterprise clients, from initial discovery and commercial brief through go-live and steady-state adoption.
- Serve as the primary relationship owner with clients’ operational and technical stakeholders, acting as the bridge between customer needs and platform capabilities.
- Work with product and engineering teams to configure Ask for each customer’s unique environment, infrastructure and chosen AI models, since no two deployments are identical.
- Define deployment success criteria with clients early in each engagement, including evaluation frameworks, acceptance thresholds and business outcome targets.
- Establish and maintain deployment cadence through kickoff, regular check-ins, steering committee meetings, user onboarding and platform training.
- Identify and map client AI use cases, helping them envision and plan an agentic future state for their core processes.
- Translate client feedback and learnings into platform improvements, creating playbooks, templates and standards that strengthen the deployment function over time.
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in product management, strategy consulting, program management, or equivalent roles involving technical delivery coordination in fast-paced environments.
- Proven ownership of complex programs and the ability to drive delivery through uncertain, evolving situations where standard playbooks do not yet exist.
- Comfort engaging confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences, including ability to critique AI system designs and surface technical risks.
- Familiarity with agentic systems, AI platforms, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, evals and orchestration—or demonstrated hunger to develop this expertise quickly.
- Strong ability to build trust across stakeholder groups at all levels, from operational teams to executive leadership, and guide organizations through AI adoption change.
- Capacity to synthesize complex information, connect dependencies and organizational bottlenecks, and drive alignment through clear communication and stakeholder management.
What makes this role worth considering
This is hands-on, customer-facing work that directly shapes both client outcomes and the product itself. You will work on real-world AI deployments in regulated industries across the UAE and the wider region, with significant onsite time embedded with clients. Your learnings feed directly back into the platform, giving you visibility into how the product evolves and the opportunity to influence the standards and tooling that define the deployment function.
