Role overview

Lightspeed, a global commerce platform founded in Montreal, is seeking a Business Strategy Manager to join its Operations team. In this role, you will support enterprise strategy initiatives by conducting analyses, developing strategic insights, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. As Lightspeed enters its next growth phase and multi-year transformation, you will help define and advance key strategic priorities company-wide.

Key responsibilities

Support business and enterprise strategy initiatives through research, analysis, and strategic perspective development, including contributions to annual strategic planning and regular strategy review cycles.
Break down complex business problems and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform strategic decisions.
Design models, synthesize data, and prepare documents that support decision-making at the executive level.
Develop business case analyses, plans, and recommendations for strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and support the implementation of key initiatives.
Monitor progress and performance of initiatives against key milestones and objectives.
