Housekeeper Job in France – Ebenezer

Ebenezer is looking to hire a Housekeeper to support residents at Aurora on France TCU in Edina, MN. This position performs all housekeeping duties consistent with the assignment sheet.

Aurora on France is a new, innovative senior community attached to Fairview Southdale Hospital in the heart of Edina, MN. It is conveniently located near Hwy. 62 and France Ave., and sits on a bus line. Aurora has 136 units offering a full continuum of care, including Transitional Care, Enhanced Care, and Assisted Living/Memory Care. This is a full-time position offering a pay rate of $18.12 to $26.17 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

The selected Housekeeper will be responsible for:

• Performing general housekeeping duties, including vacuuming and changing mop heads as trained
• Using wet floor signs to ensure safety
• Maintaining the housekeeping cart and closet
• Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Cleaning tile, walls, windows, and glass doors
• Ensuring chemicals are properly locked up
• Cleaning public areas, resident rooms, and restrooms
• Cleaning drinking fountains with disinfectant
• Vacuuming carpets and emptying/washing waste baskets with disinfectant as needed
• Assisting with emergency spills when required
• Maintaining clean linen carts
• Wearing gloves at all times while on duty
• Assisting with grounds cleanup when requested
• Performing other duties as assigned, including room changes, cleaning wheelchairs, and assisting with special events
• Complying with all company policies and standards

Housekeeper Job Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Less than 1 year of experience required
• 1 year of experience preferred
• Willingness to work the scheduled shift pattern
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards
• Ability to follow instructions and company policies

Working Conditions & Schedule

The schedule includes:

• 48 hours over two weeks (10 shifts every 2 weeks)
• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Tuesday through Friday, with an every-other-weekend and holiday rotation
