Web Summit is a leading technology conference known for facilitating meaningful connections between entrepreneurs and investors. As an Investors Associate, you will support the Investor Relations team in building and nurturing relationships with investors at all levels, from angel investors and emerging venture capital firms to established global funds, across Web Summit’s events worldwide.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with investors across different stages of the investment lifecycle.
Support investor engagement strategies before, during and after Web Summit events across multiple continents.
Assist in coordinating investor participation and maximising their involvement with startups and the broader tech community at Web Summit conferences.
Contribute to strengthening connections within one of the world’s most influential startup and investor ecosystems.
Facilitate communication between investors and other stakeholders to enhance the overall Web Summit experience.

Requirements

Fluent Mandarin language skills, essential for engaging with Chinese investors and stakeholders.
Experience in investor relations, business development or a similar relationship-focused role within the technology or startup ecosystem.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to build rapport with high-profile individuals.
Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to manage multiple investor relationships and event logistics simultaneously.
