Role overview
Analog is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their Abu Dhabi office and provide comprehensive day-to-day IT support for a growing engineering team of 77 people. This is a dedicated, structured position where IT support is the core focus—not an add-on responsibility—allowing the engineering team to concentrate on their primary work.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support issues across the organization, addressing laptop problems, connectivity concerns, account access, and other day-to-day technical matters.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook and Teams, to ensure smooth communication and collaboration across the team.
- Manage and provision devices using mobile device management (MDM) tools, maintaining security and keeping systems up to date.
- Log and track all support requests through an IT service management tool to ensure nothing is overlooked and issues are resolved systematically.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering hands-on desktop support in professional environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and its core applications.
- Experience using MDM solutions to manage and secure devices.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools and standard support processes.
- Fluent, confident English communication skills, as you will interact with staff regularly throughout the day.
- Willingness to be based in Abu Dhabi or ability to relocate to the city.
What makes this role worth considering
Unlike IT positions at companies where support is an afterthought, you’ll be part of a small, focused team that genuinely values reliable systems and recognizes your contribution. You’ll have the opportunity to implement proper solutions rather than rushing through patches, and you’ll work with colleagues who understand the value of good technical support.
