Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer will provide support to the Sales or Service department in the heavy equipment sector by applying mechanical engineering knowledge to customer interactions, technical evaluations, and operational tasks. This position includes structured on-the-job training, hands-on development of product expertise, and close collaboration with various teams to uphold strong service standards, customer satisfaction, and overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

  • Take part in hands-on training programs focused on heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Build familiarity with equipment specifications, performance benchmarks, and operational processes.
  • Learn company procedures, safety guidelines, and industry compliance requirements.

Sales Track

  • Assist sales teams with technical proposals, product demonstrations, and price quotations.
  • Help evaluate customer needs and suggest appropriate heavy equipment solutions.
  • Join client meetings, site visits, and product showcases.

Service Track

  • Support service engineers with inspecting, diagnosing, and maintaining heavy machinery.
  • Help manage preventive maintenance plans, performance evaluations, and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Liaise with workshops, spare parts teams, and field technicians to reduce equipment downtime.

Technical Support & Coordination

  • Work closely with engineers, technicians, and sales staff to resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Prepare technical documentation, inspection reports, and service records.
  • Assist with commissioning, testing, and delivering machinery to clients.

Continuous Learning & Improvement

  • Keep current with advancements in heavy equipment technology, new models, and industry best practices.
  • Support initiatives aimed at process improvement, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Use engineering knowledge to strengthen reliability, performance, and service quality.

Qualifications, Certifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (graduates from UAE universities preferred).
  • 0–1 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Valid UAE driver’s license.
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
