Role overview

As a Member of Technical Staff in Modeling, you will design and implement novel research ideas, deploy state-of-the-art models to production, and maintain connections with academic research. This role blends research and engineering, with access to exceptional compute, data, and talent resources.

Key responsibilities

Design, build, and scale AI systems intended to serve users in production environments.
Research, implement, and experiment with new ideas using the company’s supercompute and data infrastructure.
Contribute to writing production code and conducting research based on individual interests and organizational needs.
Learn from and collaborate with leading researchers in the field.

Requirements

Demonstrate extremely strong software engineering skills and the ability to write production-quality code.
Show proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, TF-Serving, JAX, and XLA/MLIR.
Have experience writing GPU kernels using CUDA.
Possess experience applying large-scale distributed training strategies.
Demonstrate familiarity with autoregressive sequence models, particularly Transformers.
Publications at top-tier venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, or similar conferences are valued but not required.
