ai71 builds enterprise-grade AI systems for governments, banks, and large organisations across the Middle East, Africa, and beyond. The company’s flagship product, Ask, is an agentic AI platform that deploys AI agents to work within an organisation’s own knowledge, systems, and workflows. Ask is infrastructure and model agnostic, running on-premises or in sovereign clouds while maintaining security and regulatory compliance across the most regulated environments in the world.

We are hiring product managers in Abu Dhabi for three distinct ownership paths: leading a product squad end-to-end, exploring and validating new product opportunities from concept, or working forward-deployed with customers to shape the platform to their specific needs. The role reports to the Head of Product and sits within a team of around 60 engineers, five product managers, product designers, and commercial specialists.

Key responsibilities

Prototype and build working artefacts using AI coding agents to test product hypotheses and settle design debates through working implementations rather than presentations.
Own discovery, requirements definition, prioritisation, shipping, and the metrics that measure success for your area of the product.
Define quality standards and evaluation frameworks for AI agent performance, building test sets and measurement systems that ensure agents work before customers deploy them into production.
Stay current with the rapidly evolving AI landscape, deciding what capabilities to build in-house, integrate from external sources, or adopt from open-source and frontier releases.
Ship products that work within real-world constraints: on-premises deployments, air-gapped networks, sovereign cloud environments, multi-language support, and security-cleared settings.
Collaborate across squads on customer-focused initiatives, contributing multiple components that work together with teams outside your direct reporting line.
Maintain close engagement with government and enterprise customers throughout procurement cycles and deployment, using insights from forward-deployed teams to inform product direction.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to prototype and work effectively with AI and coding tools to explore product ideas hands-on.
Experience owning products end-to-end, from discovery through metrics, with accountability for shipping quality outcomes.
Strong grasp of the current AI landscape, including open-source agent frameworks, observability and evaluation tooling, frontier model capabilities, and emerging standards.
Comfort working in ambiguity and deciding what is true in situations where the path is not pre-determined, particularly in complex, regulated environments.
Background working on products deployed in constrained or highly regulated settings, or experience shipping infrastructure-level or model-agnostic systems.
