Role overview
WHOOP is seeking a Retail Associate to support operations at WHOOP Qatar, an experiential performance center and retail location in Msheireb, Doha. This position is central to delivering a premium member experience while driving sales and maintaining operational excellence across extended operating hours. The successful candidate will report to the Retail Lead and serve as a brand ambassador for WHOOP’s performance optimization platform.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily retail operations and ensure consistently high standards of service, organization, and execution throughout the store.
- Educate members about WHOOP products, memberships, and personalized insights while tailoring conversations to their individual performance objectives.
- Generate revenue by selling WHOOP memberships, accessories, apparel, and experiential offerings while meeting established sales targets.
- Maintain the retail environment through visual merchandising, inventory management, restocking, and cleanliness to uphold premium brand standards.
- Support in-store experiential programming and activations while ensuring strong member engagement and seamless execution.
- Collaborate with the Retail Lead and team to align day-to-day operations with broader brand, marketing, and strategic initiatives.
- Execute daily processes with precision, including point-of-sale transactions, reporting, compliance, and adherence to store procedures.
Requirements
- Two to four years of retail experience, with preference for background in premium, luxury, or experiential retail settings.
- Demonstrated passion for health, fitness, performance, and technology, with ability to communicate WHOOP’s value effectively to diverse audiences.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and cultivating meaningful relationships with clients.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment operating extended hours daily.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a collaborative, team-focused approach.
- Working knowledge of point-of-sale systems, inventory management, and sales tracking practices.
- Arabic language proficiency is preferred; strong commitment to integrating AI tools into daily workflows while maintaining quality standards.
