Prospa is seeking experienced Sales Consultants to join the Business Lending team in Sydney. You’ll engage with small business owners across Australia, understanding their growth funding needs and connecting them with lending solutions tailored to help their businesses expand.

Key responsibilities

Conduct daily consultative sales conversations with small business owners to build trust and identify their funding requirements.
Manage a pipeline of both inbound and outbound sales opportunities while maintaining organized records in the CRM system.
Shepherd customers through the complete journey from initial contact through to settlement of their funding agreement.
Address customer objections professionally, negotiate terms and successfully close business deals.
Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and activity metrics while delivering high-quality customer experiences.
Ensure all customer records are accurate and maintain compliance with relevant requirements.

Requirements

Demonstrated track record of success in high-volume, phone-based sales roles.
Proven ability to manage multiple customer conversations simultaneously while maintaining pipeline organization.
Strong skills in closing deals, handling objections and influencing customer decisions.
Consistent history of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust through phone conversations.
Experience in fast-paced sales environments such as contact centre sales, financial services, telecommunications, insurance, automotive finance or similar industries is preferred.
Resilient mindset with genuine competitive drive and energy for achieving results.
