Role overview

Jobber is seeking a Sales Strategy & Operations Manager to join the Sales Enablement department in Edmonton. Jobber provides software solutions that help small home service businesses manage their operations, from quoting and scheduling to invoicing and payments. In this individual contributor role, you will partner closely with sales leadership to identify operational challenges and implement data-driven improvements that enhance sales channel performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary operations partner for an assigned sales channel or priority area, building deep knowledge of channel goals and performance drivers.
  • Investigate operational problems by gathering stakeholder input, reviewing workflows, and analyzing performance data to separate immediate requests from underlying issues.
  • Lead channel-level projects independently from discovery through rollout and measurement, including defining requirements, building project plans, and establishing success measures.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to sales leaders on how channels can optimize operations and contribute to quarterly priority discussions.
  • Develop and maintain structured delivery plans that clarify timing, responsibilities, and dependencies while resolving blockers and escalating risks.
  • Design practical process improvements that increase efficiency, clarity, and scalability, then develop comprehensive rollout plans that include training, documentation, and change management support.
  • Provide ongoing support to sales teams while identifying longer-term solutions that reduce friction and improve consistency across operations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex operational problems and translate them into testable hypotheses and actionable recommendations.
  • Experience leading projects from conception through execution and measurement, with strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in analyzing operational and performance data to inform strategic recommendations and measure impact.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous situations, structuring problems independently, and making sound decisions with incomplete information.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build credibility with sales leadership and cross-functional teams.
