Role overview

Kpler is seeking a Sales Specialist for its Biofuels division to drive global adoption of the company’s supply and demand intelligence platform. Founded in 2014, Kpler simplifies complex global trade data across commodities, energy, and maritime sectors, helping organisations make informed decisions. The biofuels market is heavily shaped by regulations, mandates, and trade barriers, and Kpler’s offering covers FAME, HVO, SAF, and ethanol analytics.

Key responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the biofuels service across global markets.
Build and nurture relationships with existing clients to support account growth and retention.
Engage with traders, producers, banks, and funds to understand their intelligence needs and demonstrate how Kpler’s platform creates value.
Collaborate with Product, Research, and Commercial teams to ensure clients fully leverage biofuels data and insights.
Support revenue growth by converting prospects into customers and expanding wallet share within current accounts.
Act as a commercial ambassador, articulating the strategic benefits of regulation-driven biofuels market intelligence.

Requirements

A proactive, commercially driven mindset with proven ability to identify and close business opportunities.
Experience working with traders, producers, financial institutions, or similar clientele in commodities, energy, or related sectors.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills, capable of translating complex data into client value propositions.
Understanding of or demonstrated interest in the biofuels market, regulatory landscape, or energy commodities.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal teams including Product, Research, and Commercial functions.
