Kpler is a global intelligence platform founded in 2014 that helps organisations make informed decisions in commodities, energy, and maritime sectors by simplifying complex trade data. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer on the Web Experience team, you will drive the technical evolution of the frontend platform supporting MarineTraffic and Kpler Terminal, two of the company’s flagship applications used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

Lead the unification of web applications using a shared monorepo and micro-frontend architecture to streamline development across the platform.
Build and maintain platform-level microservices that enable around 20 feature teams to deliver new capabilities efficiently.
Set engineering standards and best practices that shape the technical direction of the Web Experience team.
Collaborate with senior colleagues, product managers, and designers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Ensure that the platform reliably serves millions of global users accessing real-time trade, energy, and maritime intelligence.

Requirements

Proven experience as a fullstack engineer with demonstrated expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.
Strong background in designing and implementing microservices architectures and distributed systems.
Experience working with monorepo and micro-frontend approaches in large-scale applications.
Track record of providing technical leadership and establishing engineering standards within engineering teams.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams alongside product and design professionals.
