Role overview
Jobber is a software platform that helps small home service businesses—plumbers, painters, landscapers, and similar trades—manage their operations through tools for quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and payment collection. As a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager based in Toronto, you will lead the strategy and execution of customer acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion across all platforms, reporting to the Acquisition Manager for Lifecycle Marketing.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end leads portfolio, including strategy, programs, and metrics for nurturing leads into trials and converting trials into paying customers.
- Design and extend AI-enriched lead journeys using tools like Clay and n8n to build customer profiles and route leads into personalized experiences based on demonstrated intent.
- Create a continuous, personalized customer experience that spans from first touchpoint through conversion, working with Product to ensure personalization extends into the application itself.
- Execute a test-and-learn program focused on lead-to-trial and trial-to-paid conversion, formulating hypotheses, designing experiments, analyzing results, and iterating based on findings.
- Prioritize portfolio efforts by diagnosing where leads and trials are lost, quantifying opportunities, and making evidence-based recommendations for resource allocation.
- Lead the acquisition pod connecting lifecycle marketing with outbound and demand generation partners, owning cross-team coordination and keeping leadership informed on progress and blockers.
- Configure journeys, write email communications, and set up automation directly when capacity allows, working alongside the Revenue Communications team.
Requirements
- Demonstrate deep, documented experience owning lead nurture and trial-to-paid conversion programs at a SaaS company, with B2B SaaS background preferred.
- Have hands-on experience using AI tools to enrich customer data and personalize communications at scale—configuring enrichment logic, orchestration, or journey automation yourself, not just writing copy.
- Adopt a test-and-learn mindset with AI tools, running experiments on new technologies in your own workflow, distinguishing genuine results from hype, and working confidently with incomplete data.
- Lead integrated acquisition efforts across outbound, demand generation, product, and sales teams, owning plans and handoffs rather than executing only the lifecycle portion of someone else’s strategy.
- Possess deep knowledge of nurture and conversion metrics, and demonstrate a track record of moving these metrics through experimentation and program redesign rather than solely reporting on them.
- Take full accountability for outcomes tied to your KPIs, finding ways to measure and learn even when data inputs are imperfect.
- Operate with high autonomy, setting priorities independently, communicating proactively with your manager, and flagging risks early.
