Role overview

Kpler is a global intelligence platform founded in 2014 that transforms complex trade data into actionable insights for clients in commodities, energy, and maritime sectors. As Senior Product Manager for Cruise Liners & Port Operations, you will own the complete development and launch of two new maritime products, addressing a critical market gap: independent, observed data on actual vessel performance rather than published schedules or self-reported information.

Key responsibilities

Develop product strategy, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans for both cruise liner and port operations products from inception through first release.
Build cruise liner itinerary intelligence products that track actual sailed itineraries, fuel consumption, and emissions for fleet operators and analysts.
Create port operations products that deliver real-time vessel activity monitoring and performance benchmarking for port authorities.
Establish reliable data methodologies leveraging Kpler’s network of over 13,000 AIS receivers and 10,000+ mapped ports and berths.
Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and refine product-market fit through iterative development and feedback loops.
Collaborate closely with the Lead Product Manager – Maritime & Logistics to align strategy and execution across both parallel products.
Balance competing priorities between two early-stage products while maintaining focus on pragmatic, timely launches.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience as a product professional in maritime, cruise, travel, ports, or similar B2B data and SaaS environments.
Proven ability to take products from strategy through launch, with ownership of roadmap definition and execution.
Strong customer engagement skills and ability to translate market needs into product requirements.
Capability to work in ambiguous, early-stage environments and make pragmatic trade-offs to deliver results.
Experience building data-driven products and establishing reliable, transparent data methodologies.
