Role overview

Jobber helps small home service businesses—plumbers, electricians, painters, landscapers—run their operations through software that handles quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and payments. As Senior Product Manager for Supply, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of a new product area that connects suppliers directly into Jobber’s platform, helping service professionals manage materials as a core part of their daily workflow.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of how home service businesses source, price, order, and track materials that power their jobs.
  • Drive complex, business-critical supply product initiatives by defining vision, strategy, and roadmap across supplier catalogs, materials management, and job costing.
  • Prioritize opportunities into a cohesive product roadmap that aligns customer needs and supplier partners with Jobber’s business goals and competitive position.
  • Partner closely with Business Development, Sales, Success, Product Marketing, and other departments to launch and scale new supply-related ideas.
  • Define and monitor key product metrics across discovery, adoption, revenue, and engagement, taking corrective action when performance diverges from business goals.
  • Engage directly with service professionals and supplier partners to inform strategy, manage trade-offs, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate clearly with leadership stakeholders and build influence across teams you don’t directly manage using customer evidence and business cases.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of product management experience with a track record of shipping products and seeing them through to sustained outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience taking a new product or product area from zero to one, including shaping strategy amid ambiguity, validating with customers, and driving adoption.
  • Proven ability to influence roadmap decisions across teams without direct authority, grounded in customer evidence and business reasoning.
  • Experience building on or integrating with external platforms and partners, such as catalogs, APIs, commerce systems, or marketplace products.
  • Comfort operating across a broad product surface spanning multiple areas rather than specializing in a single domain.
  • Background in home services, construction, distribution, or supply chain environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with partnership-oriented product work or business development collaboration is valued, as is experience with pricing, job costing, or margin-focused products.

What makes this role worth considering

You’ll be working on a foundational problem for home service businesses: materials represent one of their largest costs, and Jobber is creating the first integrated solution that connects supply chain workflows directly into how service professionals work every day. This is early-stage, zero-to-one product work with significant scope and real business impact.

The role is based in one of Jobber’s hub cities: Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo, and you’ll collaborate closely with a team that includes Business Development and technical partners at some of the largest supply companies in North America.
