Role overview

As a Senior Program Manager at Kepler Communications, you will lead the development and execution of mission-critical satellite systems from their initial concept through on-orbit validation. Kepler operates the first commercial optical data relay constellation, with 33 satellites currently in orbit, and is expanding its capabilities with new satellite generations and advanced on-orbit services.

Key responsibilities

Direct the development and commissioning of the Tranche-2 satellite constellation, managing the program from kickoff through operational handover.
Lead cross-functional teams spanning Engineering and Operations to ensure programs are executed on schedule and within budget.
Drive strategic program initiatives that build global partnerships and support growth within the space sector.
Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations leadership to coordinate technical delivery and operational readiness.
Contribute to proposal development for opportunities involving satellite system development, enhancement, commissioning, or on-orbit operations.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders and partners throughout program lifecycles.

Requirements

Technical depth across multiple aerospace engineering disciplines, combined with demonstrated program management expertise.
Proven experience leading high-performing teams in complex, mission-critical environments.
Track record of delivering programs on time and within budget.
Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders.
