Checkout.com is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join its Commercial Team in London. The company powers digital payment experiences for major brands like eBay, Spotify, Uber, and Sony, processing over 10 billion transactions annually. In this role, you will drive growth by selling payment solutions to eCommerce merchants across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

Identify promising merchants and prospects to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline across various vertical markets.
Sell cross-border payment solutions and services to eCommerce merchants using both outbound and inbound sales techniques.
Act as a consultant and industry expert, helping new merchants evaluate Checkout.com’s offerings and addressing detailed questions about product capabilities.
Develop comprehensive presentations and proposals tailored to prospective merchant needs.
Manage the full sales cycle and serve as the primary point of contact for both merchants and internal teams.
Collaborate with fellow sales team members to exchange best practices, business insights, and industry knowledge.
Report on local market trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and feedback on sales, product, and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum five years of sales experience with at least three years specifically in the payments industry.
An established network of potential prospects and business partners.
Proficiency with Salesforce.
Strong technology background with genuine enthusiasm for innovation and new solutions.
Solid understanding of business principles and financial considerations.
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities and workloads effectively.
