Role overview
Join Lean Technologies as a Staff DevOps Engineer in Dubai, leading infrastructure architecture and reliability strategy across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This high-impact position defines how infrastructure is built, operated, and scaled company-wide, supporting a rapidly expanding fintech platform serving mission-critical financial services across MENA with billions of dollars in annual transaction volume.
Key responsibilities
- Define and own infrastructure architecture strategy across hybrid cloud deployments including GCP, OCI, and on-premises systems
- Design and evolve Kubernetes platforms for multi-region scalability, resilience, and cost optimization
- Establish Infrastructure as Code and GitOps standards across all environments
- Build and scale observability systems including metrics, logging, and tracing to enable proactive reliability
- Lead incident management processes and drive systemic improvements through postmortems
- Drive automation across provisioning, scaling, and patching while championing security and compliance best practices
Requirements
- 8+ years of DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering experience with distributed systems at scale
- Deep expertise in Linux systems, networking fundamentals, Kubernetes operations, and Terraform
- Strong programming and scripting capabilities in Python, Go, or similar languages
- Proven experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Proficiency with CI/CD systems, containerization, observability stacks, and security frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
