Role overview

This is a Strategy and Operations role reporting directly to ai71’s Chief Product and Technology Officer. You will own strategic initiatives, manage the operating rhythm for product and technology teams, and work across leadership to turn decisions into executed work. ai71 builds enterprise-grade AI platforms for governments, banks and large enterprises, with a focus on sovereignty, security and responsible deployment in regulated environments.

Key responsibilities

Own two to three strategic initiatives sponsored by the CPTO, from initial problem definition through to dated outcomes and execution.
Run the operating cadence for product and technology, including weekly leadership meetings, monthly business reviews, and quarterly and annual planning cycles.
Manage planning for cross-squad initiatives, tracking what each team delivers and whether outcomes land with customers.
Partner daily with heads of product, business operations and leads across engineering, design, technical program management, deployments and commercial to keep priorities and commitments aligned.
Prepare the CPTO for key meetings by providing context, surfacing positions and clarifying decisions needed, and capture commitments from internal and external conversations.
Maintain metrics and reporting on delivery, deployments, usage, agent quality, hiring and spend; flag risks and slippage early with options attached.
Draft leadership updates, all-hands communications, board papers and external materials; support hiring for key roles and handle sensitive matters with discretion.

Requirements

A strong technical foundation combined with operator’s instincts and analytical rigor.
Demonstrated ability to turn early ideas into decision-ready proposals with clear questions, evidence, options, trade-offs and recommendations.
Hands-on capability to do technical homework—prototyping, scripting and building working artifacts to support arguments.
Experience running operating rhythms, managing cross-functional coordination and tracking decisions to closure.
Comfort working in environments with rapid change and ambiguity, where determining what is true comes before execution.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for leadership updates, board materials and cross-team alignment.
