Lean Technologies is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead hiring across Go-to-Market and Business functions while managing a small talent team. As a player-coach, you’ll drive both the quality and speed of hiring while acting as a strategic partner to company leadership. • Own end-to-end Go-to-Market and Business hiring, including intake, sourcing, screening, and closing of candidates.
  • Build outbound recruiting capabilities by developing target company maps, candidate archetypes, and leading direct outreach efforts.
  • Close senior hires personally, managing offer negotiations, equity conversations, and compensation positioning against regional and global benchmarks.
  • Lead and develop the talent team by setting priorities and targets, providing regular coaching and feedback, and supporting their professional growth.
  • Partner with the CEO, CFO, Head of People, and functional leaders on headcount planning, sequencing, and compensation trade-offs.
  • Establish hiring standards with managers before searches begin and maintain interview quality through role-specific scorecards and structured interviewing training.
  • Own the recruiting technology stack, including Ashby, Granola, and AI workflow tools, to enable a small team to operate efficiently at scale.
  • Lead special hiring initiatives including the internship programme, 2027 KSA Graduate Program, LeanX stablecoin startup hiring, and the new Cairo hub launch.
  • Manage Emiratization compliance and build Lean’s employer brand across all office locations.
  • Direct the talent team’s AI adoption roadmap, evaluating new tools against measurable outcomes and setting responsible use standards.

Requirements

  • Talent acquisition experience at a venture-backed startup or growth-stage company, with at least one year in a people management role.
  • Proven track record closing senior Go-to-Market and leadership hires.
  • Ability to manage upward, advising leadership on organizational design and compensation while supporting decisions with data.
  • Strong structured assessment practices including scorecards and calibrated interview loops based on evidence rather than instinct.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, with Ashby experience preferred, combined with excellent process management and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience hiring across UAE and/or Saudi Arabia markets.
  • Clear and concise communication skills with strong command of hiring metrics and reporting.
  • Background in fintech is preferred; experience with Emiratization and/or Saudization programmes is valuable; Arabic language skills are desirable.
