    3Personal Details

    This section is more common in Gulf CVs than in many Western countries. Typical fields include Nationality, Date of Birth, Visa Status, Marital Status (optional), and Driving License if relevant.

    Many local employers still expect marital status, but large multinationals often do not. Including it is optional unless specifically requested.

    4Should You Add a Photo?

    A photo is still common in many UAE industries — especially hospitality, aviation, customer service, retail, real estate, and sales. For IT, engineering, finance, and most multinational companies, a photo is often unnecessary.
