Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles carefully to deliver goods to the right places.
- Plan and organize efficient delivery routes.
- Verify delivery orders and ensure all necessary documents are in place before departure.
- Load and unload goods carefully to prevent damage.
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering products in a professional and friendly manner.
- Address customer inquiries and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Follow all traffic rules, laws, and safety instructions.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Keep correct records of deliveries, including time, distance, and fuel use.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate schedules and resolve logistical challenges.
- Communicate any delays or unexpected situations affecting deliveries immediately.
- Assist in warehouse tasks, such as sorting and organizing goods for delivery, when needed.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A legal driver’s license with no traffic violations.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus, but not necessary.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and navigation applications.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings based on delivery demands.
