Role overview

Scale is an AI data foundry that powers frontier model training, enterprise AI adoption, defense applications, and autonomous vehicle development. This AI Product Manager role supports the Multimodal and Coding data verticals, including audio, image, video, and world models. This position is designed for someone early in their product career who wants to grow into a full AI Product Manager role over time.

Key responsibilities

Partner with Senior AI Product Managers to execute strategic initiatives across Coding, Agentic, and reinforcement learning data products.
Coordinate cross-functional projects involving operations, engineering, research, and go-to-market teams to deliver customer commitments on schedule.
Monitor program milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables while maintaining accountability across all stakeholders.
Support customer engagements by preparing materials, documenting requirements, coordinating follow-ups, and helping manage project execution.
Define data specifications, review data quality, and identify opportunities to improve product performance and operational efficiency.
Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to inform product strategy and roadmap development.
Develop new AI data products, tooling, and evaluation workflows while building understanding of frontier AI models, agent systems, and data pipelines.

Requirements

Three years of experience in product management, project management, product operations, consulting, technical account management, customer success, or a closely related field.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and stakeholder relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proven ability to work effectively across functional teams and drive projects to completion.
Technical curiosity and genuine interest in learning about AI systems, machine learning, coding, and data products.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience working with technical teams or technical customers is preferred; a results-oriented mindset and comfort operating in fast-paced environments are essential.
