Key responsibilities

Manage earned media campaigns by cultivating relationships with national political, financial, and technology journalists to secure proactive coverage and handle time-sensitive responses.
Execute digital communications on X and other social platforms to reach policymakers, thought leaders, and the crypto community directly.
Create advocacy communications that amplify consumer perspectives and highlight the practical benefits of pro-innovation policy for legislators and regulators.
Establish long-term brand authority by positioning Coinbase as the most trusted leader in crypto across multiple election cycles and regulatory periods.

Requirements

At least seven years of experience in high-stakes political communications, including work in Congressional offices, political campaigns, or rapid-response environments within government agencies.
Proven experience as an on-the-record spokesperson managing high-pressure national media inquiries while maintaining consistent, disciplined messaging.
Demonstrated ability to drive news cycles and influence public opinion through X and other digital platforms, with documented results showing measurable impact.
Strong understanding of the US regulatory and legislative landscape with the ability to simplify complex policy concepts into accessible public communications.
Established relationships with Tier 1 political and financial journalists that have consistently generated earned media coverage.
Experience using generative AI responsibly with human oversight to produce business-ready work and achieve measurable improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality.
