Role overview

Everpure, a data platform company with $3.7 billion in annual revenue, is building a new capability within Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and seeking a Director to establish and lead it. As the business expands into consumption and as-a-service models with greater capital investment and supply chain complexity, the company needs dedicated expertise to forecast, explain, and optimize free cash flow across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

Build and own the integrated three-statement forecast with primary accountability for balance sheet and cash flow projections across monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range planning periods.
Develop a driver-based free cash flow model that connects operating performance, working capital, capital expenditures, financing activity, and taxes into a unified view of cash generation.
Establish forecast accuracy metrics and disciplined variance review processes to continuously improve forecasting methodology, assumptions, and cycle times.
Create the analytical framework for working capital management across inventory, receivables, payables, deferred revenue, and the cash conversion cycle.
Model cash and balance sheet implications of evolving business models, subscription offerings, legal entity structures, and intercompany flows.
Own capital expenditure forecasting and prioritization across platform development, product qualification, infrastructure, facilities, and IT, including business case evaluation and ROI analysis.
Develop cash flow insights for executive leadership, Board materials, and partner with Investor Relations on external guidance and metrics.
Build systems and data foundations to transition from spreadsheet-dependent processes toward scalable planning platforms with integrated data and automated reporting.
Establish operating cadence and governance for enterprise cash forecasting, including ownership structures, review forums, controls, and KPIs.
Build and scale the team as a hands-on player-coach, defining the operating model while remaining deeply engaged in analytical work.

Requirements

Minimum 12 years of progressively complex finance experience, including substantial Corporate FP&A experience with demonstrated ownership of cash flow and balance sheet forecasting at scale.
Deep, hands-on expertise in working capital mechanics including inventory, receivables, payables, purchase commitments, and cash conversion cycle management.
Experience operating in a hardware, manufacturing, or hybrid hardware/subscription environment with complex supply chain dynamics is strongly preferred.
Strong command of three-statement financial modeling and the accounting mechanics underlying cash flow statements and balance sheets, including revenue recognition and the cash implications of legal entity structures.
Exceptional financial modeling skills with ability to build transparent, auditable, driver-based models designed for scenario and sensitivity analysis.
Demonstrated experience building new finance capabilities, processes, or teams and leading finance professionals.
Ability to partner effectively across Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Supply Chain, Operations, Investor Relations, and FP&A on complex cross-functional initiatives.
Capability to translate complex financial and operational dynamics into clear, decision-ready insights for executive and Board-level audiences.
