Job Summary
This role serves as general labor and basic mechanical maintenance support for the plant located in No Agua, New Mexico. Support to operations in Antonito, Colorado may also be required as needed. New hires will be trained to perform several different jobs during their first couple of months.
Job Responsibilities
The selected General Worker will be responsible for:
- Performing general labor duties as assigned
- Assisting with basic mechanical maintenance tasks
- Providing operational support to the plant, and to the Antonito, Colorado site when needed
- Operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, dump trucks, and forklifts (where applicable)
- Learning and rotating through multiple job roles during initial training
- Following all safety standards and procedures
- Performing other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor
General Worker Job Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Some industrial background is highly preferred
- Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance knowledge preferred, but not required
- Experience operating heavy equipment (front-end loaders, dump trucks, forklifts, etc.) is ideal
- A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a double endorsement is a strong advantage
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role

- Regularly required to stand, reach, climb, balance, walk, and kneel
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
