Role overview

This Inventory Analyst position supports Etihad Airways’ material availability and supply chain optimization through data-driven analysis and reporting. You will examine inventory and supply chain performance to inform business decisions, develop analytical frameworks, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Key responsibilities

Analyze inventory, stores and supply chain performance data to develop key performance indicators, dashboards and recommendations for improvement.
Conduct operational analysis to support business decision-making and create Power BI dashboards, Excel analyses and presentations that communicate clear business insights.
Lead projects and process improvement initiatives from initial requirements gathering through testing, implementation and post-implementation review.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues, track progress and ensure deliverables are completed.
Identify opportunities for automation of reporting, processes and workflows using appropriate digital tools and technologies.
Prepare management reports, project updates, business cases and ad-hoc analyses to support strategic and operational planning.
Manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining ownership, attention to detail and delivery under pressure.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in inventory, supply chain, data analytics, business analysis or project work, preferably within the aviation industry.
Solid understanding of aviation inventory, stores, materials management and supply chain processes, including operational key performance indicators.
Familiarity with aviation enterprise resource planning or maintenance, repair and overhaul inventory and materials management systems, preferably AMOS or comparable aviation platforms.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel for analytics and reporting.
Working knowledge of SQL or Oracle for data extraction, validation and analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including root-cause analysis and practical recommendation development.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and PowerPoint presentation skills; proactive, self-motivated and accountable with the ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
