About the Internal Audit Officer Role
EDGE Group is on the lookout for a meticulous Internal Audit Officer to enhance its integrated management system (IMS) assurance efforts across the organization in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role plays a key part in conducting independent reviews that uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards throughout the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out internal IMS audits spanning quality, environmental, health, and safety processes.
- Assess compliance with ISO standards and internal policies across various departments.
- Clearly document audit findings and collaborate with process owners to agree on corrective actions.
- Monitor the resolution of non-conformities and confirm the effectiveness of implemented fixes.
- Compile audit reports and present findings to management.
- Assist with external certification audits and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in internal audit or IMS-related roles.
- Practical knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
- Internal auditor certification considered a plus.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication abilities.
