Role overview

Docebo is an AI-powered learning platform that helps organizations create, deliver, and manage training. As Salesforce Product Owner, you’ll lead a newly formed team at the center of how Docebo sells, renews, and serves customers. This is a strategic role responsible for setting product direction, managing stakeholder priorities, and enabling senior technical talent to deliver high-impact work.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog by translating business needs into clear problem statements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide the team’s work.
  • Serve as the connective link between the Salesforce team and business stakeholders across Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Finance, managing expectations and negotiating trade-offs.
  • Define and establish the intake and delivery process the team operates within, setting standards for how work enters the backlog ready to build.
  • Partner with senior architects and administrators as an advisor and thought leader, focusing on problem selection and sequencing rather than technical design.
  • Identify and champion opportunities for AI-driven innovation within the team’s operations, from ticket triage to automation and workflow optimization.
  • Represent the Salesforce platform when the business evaluates new tools, ensuring decisions that affect the system are made deliberately rather than discovered later.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience as a Salesforce Architect, Senior Administrator, or Business Analyst with deep platform expertise and credibility with technical teams.
  • Strong track record managing product backlogs, scoping requirements, prioritizing features, and making strategic decisions to say no when necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to align competing business priorities across departments, negotiate with senior leadership, and maintain stakeholder alignment.
  • Success building lightweight, effective operating frameworks that bring clarity to workflows without unnecessary complexity.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical complexity into business language for executives while keeping developers focused on mission and priorities.
  • Comfort navigating regulated environments, including SOX controls, structured deployment schedules, and rigorous user acceptance testing standards.
  • Natural curiosity and drive to leverage emerging AI solutions to optimize operations and system efficiency.

What makes this role worth considering

You’ll work with strong senior technical talent in a role specifically designed to empower their work rather than oversee it. The team operates on a hybrid schedule with three days in the Toronto office (Tuesday–Thursday) and flexibility for the rest of the week, supporting collaboration while maintaining work-life balance. Docebo’s culture emphasizes trust, positive intent, and diverse perspectives, with total rewards focused on competitive pay, holistic wellbeing, and transparency.
