- Debug and diagnose failures in collars and tower components to identify root causes through methodical analysis of electromechanical systems.
- Develop and refine failure analysis processes to improve accuracy and reduce instances where no fault is found.
- Mentor junior engineers in failure analysis techniques and build their technical knowledge and problem-solving approaches over time.
- Collaborate across hardware, firmware, production, supplier quality and networking teams to investigate failures and communicate findings.
- Support the recruitment and hiring process to build a team rooted in technical capability, process discipline and analytical curiosity.
Requirements
- Deep experience in electronics engineering with proven hands-on capability in debugging complex hardware systems.
- Demonstrated experience diagnosing field failures and understanding how in-field conditions and events relate to product failures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable feedback for cross-functional teams.
- Natural mentoring ability and inclination to share knowledge and educate others.
- Methodical, principled approach to root cause analysis supported by clear evidence and first-principles thinking.
