Role overview

Jobber is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join the Web Strategy team and drive experimentation and growth on getjobber.com, the company’s primary marketing platform. Jobber helps small home service businesses manage their operations through technology, enabling them to quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments while delivering professional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

Build and ship production features across a hybrid stack including Next.js, Sanity headless CMS, React, and TypeScript, while maintaining and enhancing existing WordPress environments built with PHP and Twig templates.
Design and execute complex A/B and multivariate testing experiments across high-converting marketing flows in partnership with CRO leads and data analysts to drive measurable conversion outcomes.
Contribute to and expand the shared component library and design system to enable faster, more consistent development across teams.
Own performance and accessibility standards by prioritizing Core Web Vitals, semantic markup, and fast page loads that directly support conversion goals.
Mentor and coach other front-end developers while establishing patterns and technical direction for how the team builds, and partner with the Engineering Manager on code quality and architecture decisions.
Use AI coding tools and agents fluently to accelerate development, improve team AI workflows through MCP integrations and refined prompts, and help define standards for AI-assisted development practices.
Identify and implement improvements to the stack, tooling, and processes while maintaining strong team documentation.

Requirements

Expert-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, web accessibility, and web performance with several years of production application development experience.
Proven hands-on experience architecting and shipping complex A/B, multivariate testing, and personalized web experiments with measurable conversion outcomes.
Demonstrated experience with web experimentation and feature flag platforms.
Working knowledge of headless CMS systems and the ability to integrate APIs and structured content across both modern and legacy codebases.
Comfort using AI coding tools and agents as core engineering skills, with ability to critically evaluate output quality and reliability.
Strong communication skills and experience mentoring other developers.
