Role overview

Practice Better is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a remote-first engineering team building an AI-powered practice management platform for health and wellness professionals. Founded in 2016 and now serving tens of thousands of practitioners across 70+ countries, Practice Better provides an all-in-one platform that combines electronic health records, practice management, and nutrition planning tools. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful technology that directly supports independent practitioners globally.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions based on management direction, customer feedback, and investigation of technical problem areas.
  • Build complete user-facing features spanning database models, APIs, and UI components across the full stack.
  • Leverage agentic AI development tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate development velocity while maintaining code quality and architectural standards.
  • Assist the customer support team with technical requests, reproduce bugs, and work toward resolving customer issues.
  • Optimize platform performance and improve the technology stack by identifying and implementing better patterns and protocols.
  • Implement analytics, monitoring, and alerting systems to enable faster responses to operational incidents.
  • Collaborate across Product Management and Design teams to achieve company objectives and take substantial features from concept to production independently.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in full-stack development within a SaaS B2B, customer-focused environment.
  • In-depth expertise in .NET and C# as core requirements, with strong working knowledge of Angular or React for frontend development and TypeScript.
  • Demonstrated daily experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, including the ability to effectively prompt, guide, and critically evaluate AI-generated code to meet production standards.
  • Proven ability to independently identify problems and deliver complete solutions, capable of owning substantial features from concept to shipping as the sole engineer.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a commitment to clarity and action-oriented outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the technology stack including MongoDB, S3, SQS, Lambda, and AWS services.
  • Openness to mentoring team members and sharing knowledge across the organization.
