Role overview

Everpure, a data platform leader in the storage and flash technology industry, is looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join its sales team. You will serve as a technical expert who partners with customers and sales colleagues to understand complex business challenges and design tailored storage solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Analyze customer business drivers and decision-making processes to inform technical strategy and solution design.
Align Everpure’s storage portfolio and ecosystem offerings with specific customer business outcomes and growth objectives.
Work with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to develop integrated customer strategies that accelerate revenue and new business opportunities.
Lead technical evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations, then present findings and architecture recommendations to prospective and existing customers.
Capture customer requirements and translate them into innovative technical solutions that address their capacity and performance needs.
Contribute to and lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, and collaborate with product and technical marketing teams to create supporting materials such as whitepapers and presentations.
Monitor competitive positioning and market trends to ensure solutions reflect the latest differentiated offerings and maintain thought leadership within the organization.

Requirements

Pre-sales experience is required, with five or more years in roles combining technology, design, and communications, preferably selling enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software solutions.
Deep knowledge of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architectures, including modern web stacks, scale-out versus scale-up approaches, and microservices design patterns.
Expert understanding of storage architectures including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NAS, and SAN technologies, along with hands-on familiarity with Linux, NFS file systems, and distributed computing environments.
Proficiency with VMware, local area networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP; experience with containers and Kubernetes is beneficial.
Knowledge of storage-intensive applications and their requirements, particularly structured databases such as SQL and Oracle, is highly desirable.
Proven ability to identify and qualify new prospects, convert leads into clients, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives, cloud-native architecture, on-premises deployments, provisioning automation, and containers.
