Role overview

BEUMER Group, a global leader in high-tech intra-logistic systems, seeks a Senior Project Cost Controller to support its Middle East operations across Airport, Logistics, and Customer Support divisions. Based in Dubai, you will oversee financial project controls for a portfolio of complex integration projects, working closely with project managers and business leadership to ensure accurate cost management and forecasting.

Key responsibilities

Monitor and control project costs by tracking actual spending, forecasts, and variance analysis in collaboration with project managers and their teams.
Manage project creation, closeout, and ongoing maintenance to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with BEUMER Group standards.
Prepare estimates to complete, margin forecasts, and risk assessments while maintaining oversight of revenue recognition processes.
Lead the project controlling team in managing smaller-scale projects and ensure timely, accurate reporting across the Middle East portfolio.
Support monthly closing procedures and consolidate forecasts by division, communicating financial risks and insights to senior leadership.
Collaborate with business controllers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to address claims management, intercompany trading, and special business initiatives.
Manage cash flow, trade finance, foreign exchange considerations, and invoicing processes at both project and company levels.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum five years of relevant experience in a comparable controlling position within complex integration projects.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems.
Strong understanding of project execution methodologies, stage gate models, and BEUMER Group financial principles.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to lead meetings and presentations with internal stakeholders and external clients.
Demonstrated analytical approach, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on key milestones.
Project Management Professional certification is preferred; experience with robotic process automation or business intelligence tools is valued.
