Jobber is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Product Engineering team in Toronto. The company builds software that helps small business owners run and grow their operations. Key responsibilities

Collaborate with other software developers on a Scrum team to build and improve Jobber’s core product offerings.
Champion best practices for well-tested, scalable, and well-organized code across your team.
Customize, extend, and experiment with tools, models, harnesses, and processes to improve effectiveness for yourself and your team.
Mentor other engineers, helping them develop their skills and adopt higher standards of technical work.
Contribute to solving complex problems that affect millions of small business entrepreneurs.
Balance shipping new features with dedicating time to addressing technical debt.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience as a software developer with a proven track record of solving real-world problems creatively.
Strong proficiency in software development and a commitment to writing well-tested and scalable code.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to autonomous decision-making.
Experience mentoring other developers or willingness to take on mentorship responsibilities.
Passion for continuous learning and professional growth in software engineering practices.
