Role overview

Partly is building a global platform to make replacement parts universally searchable and accessible, starting with automotive parts. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a rapidly expanding team working on mission-critical systems for the core SaaS and API platform that powers this infrastructure across hundreds of companies worldwide.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain mission-critical systems for Partly’s core SaaS and API platform.
Ensure features are built to be highly scalable, fault-tolerant and accurate.
Deliver solutions that provide a great experience to businesses using the Partly platform.
Help develop and share software best practices across the engineering team.
Become an expert in the complex and underserved automotive parts domain.

Requirements

Five or more years of experience developing complex applications.
Strong experience with TypeScript as a primary language.
Solid understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals, including data structures, concurrency, architecture, APIs, testing and design patterns.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Deep knowledge of databases and data models, including both relational and NoSQL approaches.
Experience building reliable, distributed systems.
