Suntransfers is looking for an experienced SEO Manager to join its growing team in Barcelona, Spain. This is an exciting opportunity for a digital marketing professional who is passionate about search engine optimization, organic growth, and the future of AI-powered search.
As SEO Manager, you will take ownership of the company’s organic search strategy, helping drive traffic, visibility, and revenue across international markets. Working closely with product, content, development, and marketing teams, you will play a key role in improving search performance and expanding Suntransfers’ presence across both traditional search engines and emerging AI discovery platforms.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical SEO expertise, data-driven decision-making skills, and experience managing large-scale websites or international SEO campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and online visibility.
- Lead technical SEO projects, including crawlability, indexation, site structure, page speed, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
- Implement Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to improve visibility across AI-powered search platforms.
- Work closely with content, product, development, and paid media teams to integrate SEO best practices into new projects and website updates.
- Monitor website performance and identify opportunities for organic growth.
- Create SEO reports, dashboards, and performance tracking systems.
- Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and industry trends.
- Improve brand discoverability across search engines and AI search experiences.
- Manage SEO tools, external agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations that align organic search initiatives with business objectives and revenue goals.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on SEO experience.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, including crawlability, indexation, structured data, JavaScript SEO, and website performance optimization.
- Experience using industry-standard SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and Screaming Frog.
- Knowledge of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI search optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to connect SEO performance to business growth.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with international or multilingual SEO campaigns.
- Knowledge of SQL or Python.
- Previous experience in travel, transportation, mobility, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses.
- Experience with large-scale or programmatic SEO projects.
- Additional European language skills are an advantage.
