Role overview

Cohere is a leading enterprise AI company building foundation models and end-to-end products for real-world business applications. As a Talent Sourcer in the People Operations department, you will help build the company’s technical talent pipeline during a critical growth phase, working across Engineering and Research roles as Cohere scales globally.

Key responsibilities

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of world-class technical talent across Engineering and Research positions.
Partner with hiring managers and talent partners to identify and engage passive candidates using creative sourcing strategies.
Monitor market intelligence on technical talent trends and competitive landscape to inform sourcing approaches.
Manage recruiting funnels in the applicant tracking system, updating progress and generating analytics regularly.
Develop proactive sourcing methods to optimize the top of the recruiting funnel for business roles.
Cultivate and leverage relationships within established business networks and with industry leaders.
Identify and own additional high-impact talent initiatives as they arise.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience sourcing for technical roles in Engineering and Research across markets like EMEA or the US.
Proven track record sourcing candidates in high-growth environments with high hiring standards, with strong preference for startup, technology, or AI experience.
An established, high-profile network within business communities.
Ability to solve complex problems creatively and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous settings.
Natural relationship-building and influencing skills with exceptional interpersonal abilities.
Data-driven mindset using analytics to guide sourcing decisions and measure impact.
