Orisha is seeking an experienced Technical Consultant – WMS to join its growing team in Nijkerk, Netherlands. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale warehouse management system implementations across Europe while helping businesses optimize their logistics operations.
As a Technical Consultant, you will work closely with implementation teams, project managers, developers, and clients to configure and deploy Orisha’s Core WMS platform. You will play a key role in translating business requirements into effective technical solutions, ensuring successful project delivery and long-term customer success.
This position is ideal for professionals with a strong logistics background, WMS implementation experience, and technical expertise in SQL and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize the Core WMS platform to meet client requirements.
- Analyze customer business processes and translate them into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and customers throughout implementation projects.
- Develop and maintain configuration standards, deployment templates, and technical documentation.
- Support system go-live activities and post-implementation operations.
- Deliver user training and assist customers during deployment phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after implementation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practices within the implementation team.
- Support integration projects involving ERP, EDI, and related business systems.
Requirements
- HBO or WO working and thinking level with an IT or technical background.
- Minimum 3 years of experience implementing, integrating, or consulting on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong logistics and supply chain knowledge.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with databases.
- Experience with APIs, scripting, or low-code configuration environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage technical projects and communicate effectively with clients.
- Fluent Dutch and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Proactive, structured, and customer-focused approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within supply chain, warehousing, or 3PL environments.
- Knowledge of ERP integrations such as SAP or Exact Globe.
- Experience with EDI integrations.
- Previous consulting or implementation project experience.
- Familiarity with logistics software and warehouse operations.
