This is a full-time, permanent position based in Marysville, Washington, offering an annual salary between $35,640 and $51,100, along with a strong benefits package.
Job Responsibilities
The selected Driver will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Shipping Department by ensuring the safe transport of deliveries to customers and Safran-affiliated facilities
- Delivering raw materials, supplies, tools, and finished goods to local Safran facilities
- Transporting raw materials, supplies, tools, and finished goods within the facility and between the home facility and local warehouses
- Assisting the Shipping Department with packaging and staging deliveries
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Driving forklifts
- Entering information into the ERP system
- Carrying out receiving actions and verifying inventory
- Actively participating in operational improvement activities
- Cross-training or transferring to other departments as needed
- Working overtime as needed and staying flexible with other assigned tasks
Driver Job Requirements
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or experience preferred
- Less than 2 years of experience required
- Must have, or be able to obtain, forklift certification
- Familiarity with Windows Operating System and MS Office
- Basic knowledge of driving routes, map reading, and freight staging/preparation
- Understanding of shipping department tools, including power tools
- Prior shipping/receiving or warehouse experience required
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks on time
- Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs (team lift and forklift support available)
- Prior experience with an ERP system preferred
- Good basic math and reading comprehension skills, to follow work orders
- Able to speak, read, and write English proficiently
- Legible handwriting/printing
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities
Working Conditions & Schedule
- Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- Heavy lifting and physical activity are part of this role
- A criminal background check and drug screening are required for all positions
