Role overview

Halter is transforming livestock farming through innovative grazing technology that eliminates traditional constraints like quad bikes, dogs and fencing. This newly created Executive Assistant role supports Halter’s senior leaders driving Product and Engineering functions, placing you at the intersection of hardware, software and product strategy during a period of rapid scaling.

Key responsibilities

Manage complex calendars across multiple time zones for senior executives, protecting focus time and resolving scheduling conflicts proactively.
Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements including farm visits and trips to manufacturing partners.
Organize and execute key team rhythms such as planning sessions, product reviews, all-hands meetings and company offsites.
Track priorities and action items across teams, follow up on decisions and unblock stalled initiatives.
Handle expenses, meeting briefs and executive inboxes with accuracy and speed.
Identify operational friction points and design lightweight systems that streamline how work flows across Product and Engineering functions.
Own small projects from conception through completion, including coordinating farm visits and customer engagement events.

Requirements

Demonstrated excellence in executive support fundamentals including calendar management, travel coordination and meeting logistics.
Exceptional organisational skills and ability to operate confidently in ambiguous environments while maintaining attention to detail.
Clear, concise communication style and comfort working alongside engineers and technical teams.
Genuine curiosity about engineering, hardware and technology development, with willingness to learn product deeply and anticipate executive needs.
Strong judgment, low ego and willingness to push back on inefficient use of time.
Ability to remain calm under pressure as priorities shift and plans change rapidly.
Discretion and trustworthiness when handling confidential information including product roadmaps and supplier negotiations.
