Later is an AI-powered influencer marketing platform trusted by major brands including Nike, Wayfair, Unilever, and Southwest Airlines. We’re seeking a Lead IT Specialist to own and evolve corporate IT systems, security, and access governance at a senior technical level. This role balances strategic planning with hands-on execution, focusing on building secure, well-governed systems that support organizational growth and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

Develop and advise on the IT technical roadmap across identity, endpoint security, access governance, and core corporate systems including Google Workspace and key SaaS platforms.
Partner with Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 controls are operationally implemented and properly documented.
Administer Google Workspace end-to-end, managing organizational policies, security settings, groups, access hygiene, and audit functions.
Lead identity and access management initiatives including SSO/SAML implementation, SCIM provisioning, group-based access control, and app access patterns.
Own endpoint device management across Mac and Windows environments, enforcing OS updates, encryption, malware protection, and compliance reporting through tools such as Kandji and Intune.
Build and maintain operational automation workflows for onboarding, offboarding, group membership management, and access reviews to reduce manual work and improve consistency.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, HR, and Finance teams to align on controls, policy rollout, vendor governance, and cost discipline.

Requirements

Seven or more years of experience in IT engineering, systems administration, or corporate systems leadership at a senior technical level.
Deep expertise in Google Workspace administration and security controls.
Strong experience with SSO/SAML, SCIM provisioning (such as Okta or similar identity providers), and group-based access control models.
Strong endpoint management experience with device policy enforcement, compliance monitoring, and large-scale device administration.
Proficiency in building operational automation and scripting to support lifecycle management and reduce manual processes.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement security hygiene practices including account lifecycle management, device inventory accuracy, and audit evidence collection.
