Role overview

This position focuses on maximizing revenue for Etihad Airways by establishing pricing strategies and managing product availability across different market segments. The role requires analyzing consumer demand patterns and setting fares that balance revenue optimization with competitive market positioning.

Key responsibilities

Deliver monthly revenue performance against established targets while ensuring optimal revenue generation across the network.
Set competitive prices for Etihad’s products and services by market segment, aligned with pricing strategy and policies and approved by Market Managers.
Forecast demand for products and services at various price points, with particular focus on revenue maximization during peak travel periods and special events.
Ensure accuracy of demand forecasts and fare projections that feed into the revenue management system to drive optimal business outcomes.
Make daily pricing and demand adjustments based on current market conditions, economic factors, and competitor activity to achieve maximum revenue potential.
Analyze and respond to pricing requests from commercial stakeholders using data-driven reasoning and factual analysis.
Partner with stakeholders to develop customer-focused product offerings and oversee revenue management operations to support commercial objectives.

Requirements

University degree or equivalent relevant analytical experience.
Minimum five years of professional experience in a numerate and analytical role.
Strong working knowledge of airline systems including PROS, Origin and Destination Systems, GDS, MIDT, and management accounting reports.
