Role overview

This position leads the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Etihad Airways’ mobile app portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager for Digital, you will own the complete product lifecycle of customer-facing mobile experiences, working across technology, user experience, analytics, and business teams to create data-informed solutions that drive customer engagement and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Etihad’s mobile applications.
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, spanning discovery, prioritization, delivery, launch, and ongoing optimization.
Collaborate with UX, engineering, architecture, and business teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and high-performing mobile experiences.
Drive Agile product delivery by managing priorities, dependencies, risks, and release planning.
Use customer insights, analytics, market trends, and competitive analysis to guide product decisions.
Monitor product performance metrics, adoption rates, engagement levels, and customer feedback to continuously enhance the mobile experience.
Manage third-party vendors and technology partners to ensure successful product delivery and operational excellence.
Represent customer needs while balancing user expectations with business objectives and technical constraints.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Minimum 7 years of product management experience, with at least 5 years managing mobile app products at scale.
Proven track record launching and growing customer-facing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
Strong knowledge of mobile app ecosystems, customer journeys, app analytics, mobile user experience design, and experimentation methodologies.
Experience working with mobile development teams using native technologies (iOS, Android) or cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
Demonstrated expertise defining product strategy, prioritizing roadmaps, and delivering measurable business results.
Experience in the airline or travel industry is required.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing capabilities.
Experience working within Agile environments, including SAFe and Scrum frameworks.
