Role overview

Scale is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of custom AI applications for government and government-backed entities across the Global Public Sector team, based in Riyadh. This role sits within a rapidly expanding division responsible for delivering bespoke AI solutions that transform public sector organizations by leveraging their proprietary data and expertise.

Key responsibilities

Facilitate design workshops with government clients to define and scope custom AI solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Lead cross-functional teams comprising engineers, machine learning engineers, and operations specialists to develop AI applications and custom large language models.
Identify and evaluate new AI application opportunities across various government entities and public sector organizations.
Engage directly with end-users throughout the development process to gather feedback and ensure priorities align with actual needs.
Own the technical evaluation process by scoping model performance requirements, reviewing results, and iterating on solutions to meet success criteria.
Monitor advances in applied AI research and custom LLM development to inform solution design decisions.
Provide regular progress updates to clients and Global Public Sector leadership.

Requirements

Demonstrated deep curiosity and genuine excitement about building AI applications that deliver measurable organizational impact.
Mission-driven approach with a commitment to rapid learning and professional growth.
Strong technical foundation with experience building software products, ideally with a background in STEM or related technical discipline.
Proven product development experience, with specific work building AI-powered products within the past one to two years.
Solid understanding of generative AI technologies and their practical applications in enterprise and consumer contexts.
Excellent leadership, presentation, and cross-functional communication skills with the ability to influence diverse technical and non-technical teams.
