Position Summary
The Room Attendant will be part of a small, dedicated operations team responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across guest rooms and common areas. As the company welcomes more long-term local guests, maintaining top-notch service standards is a key priority.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean general areas of the property
- Tidy up rooms, make beds, and change linens
- Clean and sanitize toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchenette area
- Sweep/vacuum, polish, and mop hard floors
- Sort, wash, load, and unload laundry
- Wash and iron linen and towel items
- Keep bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
- Clean mirrors and other glass surfaces
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Monitor cleaning supplies and order more as needed
- Report any necessary repairs or replacements
- Handle other ad-hoc tasks as needed
Room Attendant Job Requirements
- Meticulous, respectful, and reliable
- Experience welcome but not required — training will be provided
- Comfortable following health and safety protocols (e.g., TraceTogether SafeEntry, regular ART self-testing)
